Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cookery book author and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career in with nuclear energy policy and budgets to the White House. She initially found her career interesting and stimulating but then she lost interest, and bought a small market for specialty foods known as Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful before selling it off before putting pen to paper to start her first book. Numerous other books as well as journal articles followed. Meanwhile the Food Network show was also an enormous success. Its products include kitchen equipment and cooking materials as well as storage containers. Ina never went to a cooking school, nor did she employed in the restaurant industry. She's completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual way of cooking and entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
