Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the late 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage actor in the 1950s, beginning at the age of Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway throughout a range of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. In the same year, she released Her first album of music, It's The right time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a drama film. The film was a huge success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. She was able to land her second notable role, when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work well across Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. Recently, however she's also made her name for herself as the director of various popular TV shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28, August 1965 her family moved to Toronto when she was three. Her childhood was spent in Toronto and then her adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She she has been there for the last ten years.
