Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and scored straight A's in her A-levels. When discussing her character on Emmerdale, Coleman revealed that she regrets that she did not have a traditional college experience. When she was at school, Coleman was a member of the theatre group In Yer Space with whom she performed at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. Her performance was rewarded, and the play received positive reviews. Whilst auditioning for drama schools Coleman landed the part as Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two Awards. She was awarded the best newcomer in the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009, Coleman received nominations in two different categories: Best Actress and Sexiest Feminine. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. In the 21st day of March 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman would play his companion on Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her for the role because she was well with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's performed in television and film projects. There is no doubt that she is more influential on projects for TV than films. Eva is well-known by her character of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boavistas on CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to explore her creativity in music. Eva In addition to acting, is an entrepreneur, as well as a charity employee. Eva is the wife of three husbands, and one child born from the third.
