Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998, in Los Angeles California) is an American vocalist, actor and voice actor. Ariel Winter began her professional career as a performer when she was just a few years old performing in a Cool Whip advertisement when she was just 6 years old. She landed her first television part at the age of 7 on an episode of CBS comedy Listen Up!. Then she followed it up with performances on TV shows such as Monk Bones and ER. Gretchen was the character she played in 2007 in Disney Original Channel's animated program Phineas and Ferb. In 2007, she starred in her debut live-action role in the role of Alex Dunphy, on the popular television show Modern Family. With her Modern Family co-stars, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award four times, including the award for Best Ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel keeps doing voice work voicing characters in movies such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a Taekwondo purple belt. She's younger than actresses Shanelle Workman, Jimmy Workman. She's an avid performer and has a band WickedSweet. She is also involved with organizations that encourage green living. In 2012, her sister requested to become her guardian because of mental and physical abuse by her parents. In 2014 Shanelle was named Ariel's official guardian.
